Quality merchandise and satisfied customers are essential to Saks Fifth Avenue's success. If merchandise purchased at full price is reduced within 7 days of the purchase date, an adjustment request will be granted.
You can return or exchange an item within 30 days in good condition along with your receipt. After 30 days, the credit will be calculated at the current sale price. Purchases of watches, jewelry, electronics and sale items are final after 30 days. SAKS FASHIONFIX purchases are not accepted for return in stores or after 30 days. Personalized, monogrammed and gourmet purchases are final.
Items purchased from www.saksfifthavenue.com can be returned to a store or using the pre-printed USPS label and return form. Shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. However, you can choose another operator at your own expense.
If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, standard shipping is free for the new order, and a refund for the returned item will be made upon receipt and processing.
Saks Fifth Avenue uses electronic analysis of return patterns and reserves the right to restrict or refuse transactions.

Bought multiple orders online, returned from Canada more than 30 days ago, SAKS still haven't refunded my visa after more than 30 days. I contacted them several times and no clear answer as to why the delay took place. I will not buy from this store again, customer service is unprofessional and helpful.

Make sure you keep anything you buy online because returns are your worst nightmare!
I went back the next day when they asked Fed-Ex and that was a month ago!
They sent a credit note and I called and said I wanted a refund. You "can't credit to Pay Pal", so please provide your tax number.
Another week goes by... I'm still waiting. On hold forever... they are using a vendor somewhere outside the company.

I received your shipment 282073868 and one of the Radko ornaments was broken. The only way to get credit is to return it to you as there is no store near me. They charge $9.95 for a return label, so I'm definitely not going to "cure" this transaction. So I have a broken ornament coming back to you and I haven't even been fully refunded for it. This is not correct, especially since something broken will not recharge.

I bought a pair of expensive earrings from them in October, they sent me the wrong earrings and I immediately sent them back. They sent them back to me saying they were the wrong pair (which is why I sent them back). This was in October, I am still disputing the charge with my credit card company and them! HORRIBLE customer service! I will never buy from them again!

Bought online and returned within a few days. It was the wrong size. Saks won't refund my PayPal account that was used to make the purchase and says it doesn't refund a third party account...huh??? I said what's the difference between Amex, Visa or PayPal? They said they could send a gift card/merchandise credit. I called several times and got the same answer. Unreal! I want my refund!

I ordered $145 worth of merchandise on Aug 15th, never received the items. I called Saks and finally got an email on the 2nd of October saying I would get my refund within a week, which never happened. I called again and was told to wait 14 business days. It's been more than 14 days and still nothing. I will never deal with them again.

I have never experienced worse customer service. I canceled order #112131292 in August. I have tried calling and texting customer service at least 20 times. And although I was promised a refund to my PayPal account, I never received it. The last case number with this promise is 01974295. I asked to speak to a manager and was either disconnected or put on hold for literally over 2 hours. I'm very angry and I don't like to throw my money away. I was a regular customer but never shop there again. Also, I will spread the word!!!

I ordered a bottle of Creed from saks.com. When the box was delivered it was empty! I reported this to customer service who advised me we need to look into bs. They also said they would not ship again. After the 10 day investigation, customer service stated that they cannot refund me since I subscribed. I'm super mad! Back and forth with them just to get nothing. $300. After reading all the horrible reviews I decided to file a claim with the FTC. I suggest everyone else do the same and just so they can get some respect for being rubbish I will never shop at Saks again

I bought boots online at Saks. When they arrived, I discovered that they didn't have a side zipper, so they were difficult to put on and take off. The next day I attempted to return them to our local Saks in Beachwood, Ohio. The seller said the boots were worn out and he couldn't return them. I assured him that he hadn't put the boots on and that it hadn't been 24 hours since they were delivered. I asked to speak to a manager. He refused. He said the manager had already looked at the boots. Then he put a sign in my face with Saks email address and website and turned and walked away. I have never experienced such rudeness and disrespect from a store, let alone one that claims to have a reputation for high quality and excellent customer service. I will no longer visit the website or the store. I also urge my friends.

I can't say I'm surprised by all the negative Saks feedback. Worst customer service ever. Half the staff I spoke to can't understand you. That said, everyone gave different information and I called about 15 times over the course of a MONTH to get a refund (a simple 20% price match because the coupon didn't work). I called right after ordering, she told me she was pocketing it and I would only see the price difference as a credit. Well 10-14 days is a joke, try some days 40. They are pathetic. I couldn't understand why they couldn't process it before the order even shipped, most places can, it was just a matter of using my card for the credit amount. They are so unethical and in need of some serious changes. Oh and these reviews go back about 5 years so clearly nothing has changed and it's not a NEW issue.

Saks has the worst customer service for returns. They approved my last sale item because of the sweatshirt graphic design. So I sent the item back to the returns department. Then weeks later I got the same item back from Saks! It was sent back to me because it was a sale!!?!! Customer service approved the return, but the returns department didn't?!?? Why don't they communicate. The receipt says it's an authorized return. I don't know why the two departments don't have communication. I spoke to the customer service supervisor and they are rude! No help. Just saying that while customer service approves returns, it doesn't mean the returns department will. Why am I wasting my time sending it back then?!?? Ridiculous! So bad service and rude people. I will never buy Saks again as I wasted hundreds of dollars on this item. Back to Nordstrom where real customer service is. I knew I should never buy anything this expensive from Saks and expect them to have good service! learned. A very expensive lesson. Do not buy from Saks! They have bad, bad service!

I ordered Frye boots online as a Christmas present for daughter. It arrived in good condition. No invoice in the box. No confirmation email when ordering. Called Saks and 5th Saks with "no transaction history". Returns without an order number or receipt cannot be initiated. Paid via Paypal and started a dispute. HORRIBLE customer service saks. I will NEVER shop here again. Other stores are much more customer friendly with better prices and excellent customer service. Nordstrom here I come!!!!

It's hard to find the shipping label. I spent a lot of time trying to find or print a label. It must form part of the shipping invoice. I'm frustrated that I can't just print a label and stick it on the box. I also drove to Braintree to get back and the shop was closed.

Bought a men's suit at 42R which was a tight fit. You really need to point out that a suit in your normal size won't fit. This "Slim Fit" suit in 42R is simply a 39R. To be honest, I look like PeeWee Herman's life in it. I hope I can return it.

I bought a pair of shoes for $325, the shoes didn't fit well, one was great the other wasn't. I was told to wear the shoe at my house, and if I was still not satisfied with returning it within 30 days, I tried to return the shoes. I was told the shoe looked worn and I cannot return it. Terrible customer service. The policy is ridiculous. I never buy anything there again. I will continue to shop at high end stores with a return policy that cares about the customer. Nordstrom cares about its customers.

SAKS FROM 5TH AVENUE. SHIT RETURN POLICY I bought a Tory Burch phone case a few weeks ago, decided to use it, and realized it wasn't the right fit for my phone case. I decided to return it to the store it was purchased from at Anarundle Mills mall, went to get my receipt and was told my husband had thrown it away with the bag so now I have no receipt. So I said to myself, now I have to get a credit, which was fine with me, well that wasn't the case. The young lady at the cash register said it is not possible to return or exchange goods without a receipt. I ANSWERED WHY NOT? Unable to answer the question, she called out this very rude looking manager. She said no receipt no refund, I told her I was willing to exchange the item, the item still had the tags on and had not been used. She said you need the receipt. I asked her if she could look it up on the system, her answer was you bought it through the system, if not then there is nothing we can do for you. This is a very unfair policy for customers, what if they forget to give me a receipt? This has been known to happen, we should be stuck with items we can't use and meanwhile they have our money. what's fair about it? If it is not on the receipt, it should not be applied. And why are you so rude when you talk about other people's hard-earned money? Well they just lost another customer I can understand why they have so many bad reviews.

I will also never shop here again, same goes for a $650 pair of shoes from SJP, they broke within 3 months and I called to have them fixed or buy a new pair, they said NO, they did nothing. I would never buy any other branded and expensive clothing from this place. why i think Nordstrom offers the best deal and customer service.

I will never buy from Saks again. I was sent a blouse and the arms were very tight. I called 4 times to get a shipping label as the computer website was not working. They ship it back for free but not for free. It took me four phone calls before someone told me that. Last time Saks got my business. It wasn't worth my time. They charge $9.50 for return shipping. This must be stated when you order something.

I will never shop online from this store unless I am 100% sure I know it will fit and I love it. Wrong wrong wrong to charge for returning an item. They are the only store that does this and it is very condescending to do so. No store here so no choice. I'm deleting the Saks account.

I left just 2 days after I bought the Gucci Ace for $715. I bought it as a hiking shoe, but that was impossible. I went the next day and explained satiety to them and thought about increasing the size. They totally refused an exchange. I told them it wasn't a return but an exchange and those shoes were expensive shoes. I really want to wear them or they would be in my closet but the answer was still NO. I am very, very disappointed, although I used to buy a lot and this was my first return. I just returned my 3 pairs of Chanel and Gucci that I ordered online and were not worn and I bought them at Neiman Marcus. SAKS YOU LOSE CUSTOMERS.

I lost my return label and joined the online chat. SAKS WILL NOT PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL RETURN LABEL BY MAIL OR EMAIL. Like no other department store in the world.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I will never buy from Saks again. Nordstrom also offers much better customer service and a great refund policy. I bought a pair of Rag and Bone boots and they were very uncomfortable and also bigger than they normally are (I own several pairs). Well, after wearing them once for a few hours I decided they weren't worth keeping and spoke to a Saks rep who said I could return the shoes once they were worn and she would leave comments on my account . So I printed out the chat log, put it in the box, and sent it to Saks. I checked the tracking and it said it was delivered so I talked to them to see when I will get my refund. They said my return was declined and the shoes will be returned to me. WITH. I wouldn't have done everything I did to make sure I could return the shoes. I spoke to a manager who said he will investigate further (check the chat log and my account for notes left by the other rep) but I am not guaranteed a refund. Are you kidding me? Saks has the worst customer service experience. I'm still waiting for a response from the manager, but I feel like I'm not going anywhere with this issue. Why would the rep tell me I can return the shoes without mentioning that the shoes need to be looked at first and my refund may be denied? Very frustrated at the moment.

Shopping at Saks.com is fine. But if you want a refund, forget it. I ordered a cookie jar. When it arrived it was not properly packaged. It was in many pieces. I even cut myself on it. They told me to email a photo which I did. They responded via email and said they would process a full refund. After 2 weeks I asked where is my refund. She said it takes 10-14 business days. That sucks. It's been over four weeks and nothing. I spoke with Barbara Taylor. She said to send a photo. I said I already had it and even had a return number. She ended the conversation. I call my credit card and stop the payment. This is the only way to deal with Saks! Also they lost a longtime customer, I even canceled my Saks card after 20 years.

The return policy does not compete with other stores and is very inflexible. I would only buy as a last resort if I couldn't find the product elsewhere. Wake up Sak's before it's too late.

Not sure if I would blame the USPS or Saks, I sent skincare products back to Saks because I found them cheaper at Neiman Marcus with a better deal. However, this is the 7th day of shipping, I still cannot track the package on usps.com with the package number on the return label provided by Saks. Does this happen with other customers returning in the mail?

Return policy is not very customer friendly. I bought a pair of shoes for $595>00 that seemed to walk comfortably when I walked on the store's carpeted floor. However, when I wore them at home and walked from the house to the garage, walking was not comfortable and the soles of my feet hurt. Also, the leather was marked when walking from garage to garage on the cement and concrete floor. When I saw this I was very disappointed, especially since I had spent almost $600.00 on a shoe and it was not comfortable to walk in. I knew it wouldn't be possible to return it, but I wanted to exchange the shoe for another one from the same brand. I explained the whole situation to the manager of the Raleigh store, but he refused the exchange, claiming that the store would have to bear the loss. It would have been desirable if Saks had ensured that the quality of the shoes on display was worth the price of the shoe. I'm a frequent Saks customer, but after this incident I don't think I'll be spending any money at Saks.

The return policy is ambiguous as it states that items purchased at full price can be returned within 30 days. Does this mean discounted items cannot be returned? I tried to get clarification via phone and chat but there was no response. Online Christmas shopping can be tricky if a discounted item cannot be returned.

Worst customer service. The African American woman working the cash register on Vineland Road at 8pm on 3rd August 2017 was VERY RUDE and refused to give any explanation as to why she was unable to complete the return. She wasn't nice at all. She could have said the same things she said more kindly. But she was rude! I will not go back or recommend this place.

I bought a pair of dark green True Religion camouflage jeans. January 14, 2017 one wash and the pants fell apart went to the store in the orange quarter, they refused to give me a credit or find me another pair of pants. My purchase was made with a Saks card and I own all four colors of the Troops Religious Pants, this particular pair does not survive an amazing wash

I bought a Chanel powder blush and a YSL lipstick and I didn't like the color anymore. I couldn't find my receipt and I didn't want my money back I just wanted to exchange it for a different color but they made it really hard for me and I sat there for like 25 minutes because they couldn't find me in their system so crap! NEVER BUY THERE AGAIN...

The biggest thrift store in the country!!! I buy about $5000 worth of merchandise a month from this store. I wanted to exchange a David Yurman ring that hadn't even been worn at the Atlanta store and they wouldn't do so claiming the ring was scratched.... I won't be shopping there anymore

Online shoppers may be discouraged from making purchases when item returns are declined. When buying clothes online, there is a chance that you may need to return them if they don't fit/are the right size and/or there are other concerns about the item you purchased.

Fiona at the Laura Mercier/Chantecaille makeup counter in Greenwich, CT lied to me about the cost of my lipstick with a sassy face. She told me that the chanteaille was only $2 more than Laura Mercier, but a week later I realized that the chanteaille was $12 more. Totally unprofessional and rude. Now I have to drive another 20 minutes to basically return it. Watch out!
